Security
A payment is paid only when the chain says so
A wallet reporting that it submitted a transaction proves nothing. Droppy ignores the claim and reads the receipt itself — then checks that the funds reached your address, in the right amount, on the right chain, with enough confirmations.

Droppy is non-custodial. Funds move directly from your customer's wallet to yours — we never hold them, and we will never ask for a private key or seed phrase.
Does my customer need a Droppy account?
No. They open the link, scan the QR or press Pay, and confirm in their own wallet. Only the merchant creating links signs in, and that is done by signing a message with a wallet — there is no password to create.
Which assets can I accept?
ETH, the native gas token of Robinhood Chain, and USDG — Global Dollar, the Paxos-issued stablecoin at 0x5fc5360D0400a0Fd4f2af552ADD042D716F1d168. Both addresses and decimals are verified against the official Robinhood Chain documentation and the chain itself.
Why USDG and not USDC?
Robinhood Chain has no canonical USDC deployment. USDC bridged from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base or Solana arrives as USDG. Rather than guess at an address, Droppy ships USDC disabled and says so plainly in Settings.
When exactly is a payment marked paid?
After the server fetches the transaction receipt from a Robinhood Chain node and confirms four things: the receipt succeeded, the funds reached the link's address, the amount is at least what was requested, and the transaction has at least two confirmations. A wallet saying it submitted a transaction is never enough.
Does Droppy hold my money?
No. Droppy is non-custodial. Funds move directly from your customer's wallet to the address you signed in with. We only read the chain — we cannot move, freeze or reverse anything.
What if a customer underpays or pays late?
Underpayment is rejected and reported with both figures, so a link never flips to paid on a partial amount. Links carry an expiry (24 hours by default); an expired link stops accepting payment and tells the payer to ask for a new one.
